How the Slide Lock Works

The slide lock mounts to the inside face of the garage door near the vertical track.

When the locking bar is pushed outward, it extends through an opening in the vertical track. With the bar engaged, the door cannot travel upward through the track.

To operate the door, the locking bar is manually retracted before the door is opened.

Installation Notes
