The Genie 20235R.S is a genuine replacement numeric keypad designed specifically for the Genie KEP-1 wired keyless-entry system.
It replaces a worn, damaged, or non-responsive keypad while allowing the existing KEP-1 housing and control electronics to remain in service. The replacement keypad includes the attached ribbon cable used to connect it to the existing KEP-1 control board.

The 20235R.S replaces the keypad portion of an existing Genie KEP-1 wired keyless-entry system.
It may be needed when:
