Miller Edge RBand RB-G-K10 Monitored Wireless Gate Edge Kit – Transmitter & Receiver
The Miller Edge RBand RB-G-K10 is a monitored wireless safety-edge system designed to eliminate the need for a hard-wired connection between a moving gate sensing edge and the gate operator.
The system includes an RB-TX10 wireless edge transmitter and RB-G-RX10 receiver. The transmitter connects to a compatible Miller Edge 10K resistive monitored sensing edge, then wirelessly communicates edge status to the receiver mounted at the gate operator.
Designed for modern UL 325 gate systems, RBand provides a reliable monitored connection while reducing the need for coil cords, retractable cable reels, or other moving wired connections.

How It Works
The sensing edge connects directly to the RB-TX10 transmitter mounted on the moving gate.
When the sensing edge is activated, the transmitter communicates wirelessly with the RB-G-RX10 receiver installed at the gate operator.
The receiver then sends the appropriate monitored signal to the operator's safety-edge input.
This eliminates the need to run a moving electrical cable between the gate and stationary operator.
10K & Normally Closed Operator Compatibility
The RB-G-RX10 receiver provides connections for:
-
10K monitored operator inputs
-
Normally Closed monitored operator inputs
This allows the system to work with many different UL 325 gate operators when properly configured.
Compatibility depends on the exact gate operator and its monitored entrapment-protection input.
Compatible Sensing Edge
The RB-TX10 transmitter is designed for a:
Miller Edge 10K Resistive Monitored Sensing Edge – T2 / Blue Band termination
The sensing edge is not included with this kit unless specifically stated otherwise.
Always verify the edge termination type before ordering.
Multiple Edge Capability
The two-channel receiver can support:
-
Up to 3 transmitters on Channel 1
-
Up to 3 transmitters on Channel 2
-
Up to 6 transmitters total
Additional RB-TX10 transmitters are sold separately.
This makes the system useful for gates requiring multiple monitored sensing edges on leading, trailing, or other entrapment zones.
Improved RF Reliability
RBand uses bi-directional communication between the transmitter and receiver.
During programming, the receiver searches for a suitable RF channel, while automatic transmitter power adjustment helps maintain reliable communication in environments with radio interference.
This makes the system particularly useful in commercial gate installations where other wireless equipment may be present.
Common Applications
Ideal for:
-
Sliding gates
-
Swing gates
