Miller Edge RB-G-RX10 RBand Monitored Wireless Gate Edge Receiver – 2 Channel

RBGRX10
$180.00

The Miller Edge RB-G-RX10 is the gate-side receiver for the RBand monitored wireless sensing-edge system, designed for automated vehicular gates using compatible monitored safety edges.

The receiver communicates wirelessly with compatible RB-TX10 RBand transmitters, eliminating the need to hard-wire a moving sensing edge directly back to the gate operator.

With two independent channels, the RB-G-RX10 can support up to six transmitters total — three per channel — making it suitable for gate systems with multiple monitored sensing edges.

How It Works

A compatible RB-TX10 transmitter mounts on the moving gate and connects to a 10K monitored sensing edge.

When the sensing edge is activated:

  1. The RB-TX10 detects the change in the monitored edge circuit.

  2. The transmitter sends the monitored signal wirelessly to the RB-G-RX10.

  3. The receiver processes the signal.

  4. The receiver changes the appropriate monitored output to the gate operator.

  5. The compatible operator responds according to its programmed safety function.

This eliminates the moving wire connection normally required between the sensing edge and gate operator.

Two-Channel / Six-Transmitter Capability

The RB-G-RX10 can support:

  • Channel 1: Up to 3 transmitters

  • Channel 2: Up to 3 transmitters

  • Maximum: 6 transmitters total

This allows one receiver to monitor multiple gate sensing edges, such as leading-edge and trailing-edge protection zones.

Compatible Transmitter

Designed for use with:

Miller Edge RB-TX10 RBand Monitored Wireless Transmitter

The transmitter connects to a compatible 10K resistive monitored sensing edge using T2 / blue-band termination.

Operator Interface

The receiver provides monitored outputs for compatible gate operators using:

  • 10K monitored input

  • Normally Closed monitored input

Always verify the exact operator's monitored entrapment-protection requirements before installation.

Diagnostic Indicators

The RB-G-RX10 includes on-board indicators for:

  • Channel status

  • Edge activation

  • Signal strength

  • Low transmitter battery

  • Pre-start testing

  • System troubleshooting

The receiver's Check function can also be used to evaluate wireless signal strength during installation.

Wireless Range

The RBand system has a nominal operating range of approximately 50 ft.

Under optimal conditions, range may reach approximately 100 ft.

Actual performance can be affected by:

  • Metal gate structures

  • Operator cabinets

  • Buildings

  • RF interference

  • Antenna placement

  • Physical obstructions

  • Distance between transmitter and antenna

Proper antenna placement is important for reliable operation.

Common Applications

Ideal for:

  • Automated slide gates

  • Swing gates

  • Commercial vehicular gates

  • Industrial access gates

  • Apartment and HOA gates

  • Parking facility gates

  • Warehouse entrances

  • Secured commercial properties

  • Multi-edge gate safety systems

Package Contents

  • 1 – Miller Edge RB-G-RX10 RBand Gate Edge Receiver

  • External receiver antenna

RB-TX10 transmitter and sensing edge are not included and are sold separately.

Important Compatibility Note

The RB-G-RX10 is designed specifically as part of the Miller Edge RBand monitored wireless system.

Before ordering, verify:

  • Existing RBand transmitter model

  • Sensing-edge termination

  • Gate operator monitored-input type

  • Available 12–24VAC/VDC power

  • Number of monitored edges

  • Required wireless range

Do not assume compatibility with other Miller Edge wireless systems simply because they use a safety edge.

Important Safety Information

The RB-G-RX10 is part of a monitored entrapment-protection system and must be installed and tested with compatible equipment according to Miller Edge and gate-operator instructions.

After installation, activate every connected sensing edge and verify that the gate stops and/or reverses as required before returning the system to normal service.
