Compatibility and Installation
Select the rail specified for this opener and your door height. Do not assume an existing rail, belt, remote, or wall control will work with the new motor head.
The garage door must be properly balanced and move freely by hand. An opener cannot compensate for broken springs, damaged hardware, or a binding door.
Safety Warnings
Professional installation is recommended. Disconnect electrical power and the backup battery before servicing. Install and align the required photoelectric safety sensors, then test the reversal system according to the installation manual. Never bypass safety devices or adjust door springs without proper training and tools.
