Multi-Purpose White Lithium Spray Lubricant – 14 oz Cans, Case of 12
Multi-Purpose White Lithium Spray Lubricant – 14 oz Cans, Case of 12
Product Description
This multi-purpose spray lubricant is an all-weather white lithium penetrating grease designed to reduce friction and provide lasting lubrication for compatible garage door hardware, shop equipment, tools, and other moving metal components.
The lubricant sprays into joints and difficult-to-reach areas before forming a thicker protective coating. Its water-resistant formula helps protect metal surfaces against rust, corrosion, oxidation, dirt, acids, moisture, and salt spray.
With an operating-temperature range of approximately −60°F to 350°F, it is suitable for use in a wide range of hot and cold working environments.
This product is sold as one case containing 12 individual 14-ounce aerosol cans.

Common Garage Door Uses
This lubricant may be applied in light, controlled amounts to compatible moving metal components such as:
- Torsion spring coils
- Extension spring coils
- Steel roller bearings
- Steel roller stems
- Hinge pivot points
- End bearings
- Center bearings
- Bearing plates
- Lock mechanisms
- Latches and arm pivots
- Chain-hoist components
- Other moving metal joints
Always follow the garage door or opener manufacturer’s maintenance instructions. Certain components require a specific lubricant, while others should remain clean and dry.
Benefits
- Helps reduce metal-to-metal friction
- Penetrates joints and difficult-to-reach areas
- Leaves a longer-lasting grease coating
- Helps quiet dry or squeaking hardware
- Helps protect against rust and corrosion
- Resists water and moisture
- Provides resistance to dirt, oxidation, acids, and salt spray
- Performs in temperatures from approximately −60°F to 350°F
- Suitable for residential and commercial maintenance
- Case quantity is convenient for service technicians and repair shops
Application Instructions
Apply only a light coating to the components that require lubrication.
Before applying:
- Close and secure the garage door.
- Disconnect electrical power to the opener when working near moving or electrical components.
- Remove loose dirt, dust, and hardened lubricant.
- Protect flooring, vehicles, painted surfaces, and nearby materials from overspray.
- Shake the aerosol can according to the instructions printed on the label.
- Apply a small amount directly to the required pivot point, bearing, spring coil, or metal contact surface.
- Wipe away excess lubricant.
After application, operate the garage door only after confirming that the work area is clear and all safety devices remain properly installed.
Where Not to Apply
Do not apply this lubricant to:
- The inside surfaces of garage door tracks where rollers travel
- Photoelectric safety-sensor lenses
- Circuit boards or electrical terminals
- Garage door opener belts
- Brake surfaces
- Food-contact equipment
- Rubber or plastic parts unless material compatibility is confirmed
- Painted or finished surfaces without first testing a small hidden area
- Opener rails unless the opener manufacturer specifically approves white lithium grease
Garage door tracks should generally be cleaned rather than greased. Heavy lubricant inside the tracks can collect dust and debris and interfere with smooth roller movement.
Screw-drive, belt-drive, and chain-drive opener systems may require a manufacturer-specified lubricant. Consult the opener manual before applying this product to the drive rail or internal operator components.
Torsion Spring Lubrication
A light coating may help reduce friction between adjacent torsion spring coils and provide protection against surface corrosion.
Lubrication does not repair or correct:
- A broken torsion spring
- An incorrectly sized spring
- Spring fatigue
- Cracked or distorted coils
- Loose winding cones
- A poorly balanced garage door
- Damaged cables, drums, bearings, or brackets
Never loosen, adjust, remove, or handle a torsion spring while it is under tension.
Package Contents
- Twelve multi-purpose spray lubricant cans
- 14 ounces per aerosol can
- One full case
This is a case-quantity product and is not sold as one individual can.
Storage and Handling
Store the aerosol cans in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from direct sunlight, open flames, sparks, electrical arcs, and excessive heat.
Do not:
- Puncture or incinerate the container
- Spray near flames or ignition sources
- Smoke while applying the lubricant
- Store inside an excessively hot vehicle
- Leave the product within reach of children
- Use the product without adequate ventilation
Read and follow all instructions and safety warnings printed on the container before use.
Safety Warning
Aerosol lubricants may be flammable and may produce harmful vapors or spray mist.
Use the product only in a well-ventilated area. Avoid breathing the spray and prevent contact with the eyes and skin. Appropriate eye protection and gloves are recommended.
Keep the product away from children, pets, flames, sparks, hot surfaces, and energized equipment.
Garage door springs, cables, drums, bottom brackets, and related hardware may remain under extreme tension even when the opener is unplugged. Lubrication must not involve loosening or adjusting tensioned garage door components.
