Product Description

Application Instructions

Apply only a light coating to the components that require lubrication.

Before applying:

1. Close and secure the garage door.
2. Disconnect electrical power to the opener when working near moving or electrical components.
3. Remove loose dirt, dust, and hardened lubricant.
4. Protect flooring, vehicles, painted surfaces, and nearby materials from overspray.
5. Shake the aerosol can according to the instructions printed on the label.
6. Apply a small amount directly to the required pivot point, bearing, spring coil, or metal contact surface.
7. Wipe away excess lubricant.

After application, operate the garage door only after confirming that the work area is clear and all safety devices remain properly installed.

Where Not to Apply

Do not apply this lubricant to:

• The inside surfaces of garage door tracks where rollers travel
• Photoelectric safety-sensor lenses
• Circuit boards or electrical terminals
• Garage door opener belts
• Brake surfaces
• Food-contact equipment
• Rubber or plastic parts unless material compatibility is confirmed
• Painted or finished surfaces without first testing a small hidden area
• Opener rails unless the opener manufacturer specifically approves white lithium grease

Garage door tracks should generally be cleaned rather than greased. Heavy lubricant inside the tracks can collect dust and debris and interfere with smooth roller movement.

Screw-drive, belt-drive, and chain-drive opener systems may require a manufacturer-specified lubricant. Consult the opener manual before applying this product to the drive rail or internal operator components.

Torsion Spring Lubrication

A light coating may help reduce friction between adjacent torsion spring coils and provide protection against surface corrosion.

Lubrication does not repair or correct:
