  Installation Notes

  Install the Model 2000-R according to the manufacturer’s instructions and the door system requirements. The hoist must be mounted securely to the wall and aligned properly with the sprocket on the 1-1/4" keyed shaft. The roller chain and hand chain must be installed with proper tension and clearance.

  The door must be properly balanced before using a chain hoist. A chain hoist is not designed to overcome broken springs, incorrect spring tension, loose cables, damaged drums, bent tracks, failed bearings, or other unsafe door conditions.
