The CPS is designed for compatible non-monitored or older commercial operator applications. The interface allows the CPS-U sensors to communicate with the appropriate operator input, but the resulting installation does not qualify as primary monitored entrapment protection. Required primary safety devices must remain installed and operational.
This kit is not interchangeable with CPS-U by itself. Confirm the operator model, control-board generation, input type, available voltage, required safety-device classification, and applicable UL 325 requirements before ordering.
Installation must be performed by a qualified commercial-door technician. Disconnect and lock out operator power, align the sensors across the opening, protect the wiring, and test every safety and control function before returning the door to service.
