The LiftMaster LJ8950W is a light-duty commercial jackshaft operator designed specifically for smaller rolling steel doors, rolling grilles, counter shutters, dock doors, self-storage facilities, and other light-duty commercial applications.

Its space-saving wall-mounted jackshaft design eliminates the need for a traditional overhead operator rail while providing smooth, quiet DC-powered operation directly at the door shaft.

Built-in Wi-Fi and myQ technology allow compatible facilities to monitor and control connected access points remotely, while Security+ 2.0 technology provides secure radio communication with compatible LiftMaster controls.

Smooth DC Operation

The LJ8950W can use the optional LiftMaster 485LM Battery Backup to maintain access during a power outage.

485LM battery backup is sold separately.

Battery backup is also required when operating qualifying doors above the standard 650 lb capacity and up to the maximum permitted 850 lb door weight.

Security+ 2.0

LiftMaster Security+ 2.0 technology helps prevent unauthorized radio access by allowing operation from properly programmed compatible devices.

Compatible controls include select LiftMaster Security+ 2.0 commercial remotes and accessories.

No Traditional Operator Rail

The LJ8950W is a jackshaft operator, so a conventional trolley-style overhead rail is neither included nor required.

The operator mounts adjacent to the rolling door shaft and drives the door through the supplied chain and sprocket system.

Professional Installation Required
