The EMX NIR photo-eye detects objects interrupting an infrared beam between the powered sensor and an opposing reflector. Its retro-reflective arrangement supports compatible commercial door, gate and parking-barrier control applications without requiring a powered receiver on both sides.

Compatibility
Use with control systems that accept the NIR’s relay output and permit this type of non-monitored sensor. Verify the operator’s approved-device requirements and the sensor’s electrical label before installation.
NIR, NIR-50 and NIR-50-325 are different models. NIR-50 extends the sensing range; NIR-50-325 supports specified monitored applications. They should not be treated as interchangeable solely because their names are similar.
