How It Works

The CPSIII provides an additional monitored detection zone across the doorway. The TLS1CARD communicates with the compatible commercial operator and coordinates the RGL24LY traffic light. The light remains red while the door is closed or moving and changes to green when the door reaches its fully open position, providing drivers with a clear passage signal.

Compatibility

AD1 is intended for compatible LiftMaster commercial door operators that support the TLS1CARD and CPSIII monitored safety system. Confirm the operator model, logic-board generation, available option-card connection and accessory voltage before ordering.

This package does not include a vehicle loop detector or pneumatic treadle-hose activation system.

Installation Requirements

Professional installation is required. Photo eyes must be mounted, aligned and wired according to the applicable operator instructions. Position the traffic light where approaching drivers can clearly see it without creating an obstruction.

Installation & Safety

The green light indicates operator status; it does not replace driver observation, facility traffic procedures or required entrapment protection. After installation, test the photo eyes, traffic-light sequence, door limits, operator controls and all existing safety devices through multiple complete cycles.
