LiftMaster 811LMX 1-Button Programmable DIP Switch Remote Control

The LiftMaster 811LMX is a single-button remote for compatible commercial door operators, gate operators, and commercial radio receivers. Its selectable programming modes support Security+ 2.0 Encrypted DIP, legacy 315 MHz DIP, and legacy 390 MHz DIP systems, making it a practical replacement for supported older LiftMaster DIP-switch remotes.

With a simple one-button layout, the 811LMX provides convenient access for drivers, employees, and authorized users of compatible commercial access systems.

Compatibility and Replacement Information

The 811LMX supports the following LiftMaster DIP-system families when correctly configured:

• 811LM — Security+ 2.0 Encrypted DIP.
• 361LM — 315 MHz DIP.
• 61LM — 390 MHz DIP.

Compatibility depends on the receiver’s supported coding system and programming configuration, not frequency alone.

The 811LMX has only one operating button. Do not select it as a full-function replacement for an 813LM, 333LM, or 33LM when separate Open, Close, and Stop controls are required.

Not compatible directly with LiftMaster residential garage door openers. Security+ 2.0 branding alone does not establish compatibility.

Important Programming Note

When copying an existing 61LM or 361LM, the original code must not use any center “0” switch positions, and switch position 1 must be OFF. If the existing code does not meet these conditions, a new DIP code must be selected and programmed into the compatible commercial receiver.

Follow the remote and receiver manuals when selecting the security mode and enrolling the remote. For shared access systems, coordinate code changes with the property manager or system administrator.

Safety Warnings

• Keep the remote and batteries away from children.
• Operate the door or gate only when it is clearly visible and its travel path is clear.
• Watch the door or gate until movement is complete. Never allow anyone to cross its path while moving.
• Maintain all required safety sensors and entrapment protection devices.
• Replace the battery only with a 3V CR2032. Do not recharge, disassemble, burn, or expose it to excessive heat.
• A swallowed coin-cell battery can cause severe injury or death. Seek emergency medical attention immediately if ingestion is suspected.
