Compatibility
Use with LiftMaster commercial or industrial operators designed for a hardwired three-button OPEN/CLOSE/STOP station and supporting the required maintenance-alert connection.
It is commonly associated with LiftMaster commercial operator systems that use the Maintenance Alert System. Compatibility must still be verified using the operator’s manual and terminal diagram.
This NEMA 1 station is intended for clean, dry indoor locations. It is not designed for outdoor, wet, washdown or corrosive environments. Select a properly rated exterior control station for those applications.
The control station does not replace required entrapment-protection devices such as monitored photoelectric sensors, sensing edges or other equipment specified for the operator and door.
Browse additional LiftMaster commercial operators and controls for compatible operator components.
Placement and Operation
Mount the station where the operator can clearly see the complete door opening while using the controls. Position it away from the moving door, counterbalance components and areas where a user could reach through or around the door.
The Maintenance Alert indicator is a service reminder—not a confirmation that the door is unsafe or a substitute for routine inspection. Investigate the alert and perform the maintenance specified for the operator.
Installation and Safety
Installation should be performed by a qualified commercial-door technician. Disconnect and lock out operator power before wiring the station.
Follow the operator-specific terminal diagram for OPEN, CLOSE, STOP, common and maintenance-alert connections. After installation, test every command, the STOP circuit, travel limits and all monitored entrapment-protection devices before returning the door to service.
