The LiftMaster K24-24-1 is a replacement relay for compatible LiftMaster commercial door-operator control circuits requiring a 24VAC coil and double-pole, double-throw switching.

A DPDT relay can switch two separate circuits between normally open and normally closed contacts. In a commercial operator, it may be used for control sequencing, directional logic or another function defined by the operator’s electrical schematic.

Compatibility

This is not a universal replacement relay. Use it only when the operator’s parts list or wiring diagram specifies K24-24-1, 24-24-1, 24241 or an explicitly approved equivalent.

Confirm all of the following before ordering:

  • 24VAC coil requirement

  • DPDT contact configuration

  • Current rating

  • Terminal layout

  • Relay socket or mounting arrangement

  • Operator model and production revision

  • Existing relay part number

Do not substitute a 24VDC relay for this 24VAC component. Do not replace it with a 3PDT relay unless the operator manufacturer’s documentation specifically approves that configuration.

For circuits requiring three switched poles, see the LiftMaster K24-24-6 24VAC 3PDT Relay.

Voltage-specific alternatives include the LiftMaster 115V DPDT Relay and LiftMaster 230V 3PDT Relay.

Diagnostic and Installation Notes

Relay failure can result from a shorted load, excessive current, damaged wiring, loose terminals or incorrect control voltage. Identify and correct the underlying fault before installing the replacement.

Disconnect and lock out all operator power before opening the control enclosure. Label the existing conductors, follow the operator’s wiring diagram and verify every terminal connection before restoring power. Installation should be performed by a qualified commercial-door technician.
