EMX IRB-325 Infrared Photoeye Kit with Protective Hoods – 65 ft Range

The EMX IRB-325 is a through-beam infrared photoeye kit for compatible automatic gates and commercial door operators. A separate transmitter and receiver create an infrared beam across the protected opening. When an obstruction interrupts the beam, the receiver signals the connected operator.

With an operating range up to 65 feet, a NEMA 4X enclosure, and included protective hoods, this kit is designed for outdoor access-control and commercial door applications.

COMPATIBILITY

EMX specifies UL 325 compliance with operators requiring normally closed (NC) monitoring. Confirm approval for the exact operator and control board before ordering; this is not a universal replacement for every monitored photoeye.

INSTALLATION & SAFETY

Have a qualified technician install and test the system according to both manufacturers’ instructions. Disconnect operator power before wiring. Never bypass required safety devices. Test obstruction detection and the operator’s response before returning the gate or door to service.
