Package Contents:

Package contents can vary according to the selected rail and distributor configuration. Verify whether the listing includes the power head only or a complete installation package with rail, trolley, photo eyes, wall control, remote control, door arm, brackets, and hardware before ordering.

Compatibility Requirements:

Confirm the door type, height, weight, balance, available headroom, rail style, drive type, and required rail length. The garage door must move smoothly and remain properly balanced by hand before an automatic opener is installed.

Installation should be performed by a qualified garage door technician. Install and test the monitored photo-eye system, manual emergency release, force settings, travel limits, and automatic-reversal function according to Guardian’s instructions.

Order the Guardian 4280V when the installation requires a compatible 3/4 HP AC Guardian opener with dual 200-watt lighting, ClearCom radio control, and support for the appropriate Guardian rail system.
