The Guardian 4250V CORE Series Garage Door Opener combines a powerful 1/2 HP AC motor, dual motion-activated lighting, ClearCom® radio controls, and optional smartphone connectivity. It is designed exclusively for residential sectional garage doors.

This operator includes Guardian’s built-in Beam Smart Port. Add the Guardian V3 Beam Smart Controller to monitor and operate the garage door from a compatible smartphone. The smart controller and compatible Guardian chain or belt rail are sold separately.

Rail Required

A compatible Guardian chain-drive or belt-drive rail is required for installation and is sold separately. Select the rail according to the door height and preferred drive type. This power head cannot operate the garage door without a compatible rail assembly.

The 4250V has a built-in Beam Smart Port but does not include the Wi-Fi controller. Adding the Guardian V3 Beam Smart Controller enables compatible app-based features including:

California Sales Restriction

The Guardian 4250V does not include a battery-backup system. California Health and Safety Code §19892 prohibits the sale, offer for sale, or installation of residential garage door openers without compliant battery backup.

This product is not available for sale or shipment to California.

Installation and Safety

Professional installation is strongly recommended. Before installation, verify that the garage door is properly balanced and that the springs, cables, rollers, tracks, and other hardware are in safe operating condition.

The photo-eye safety sensors must be correctly installed and tested before operating the opener. Never allow children to operate or play with the opener, remote controls, wall console, or wireless keypad.
