The Genie 6070H Wall-Mount Garage Door Opener is a compact residential jackshaft-style operator designed to mount beside the garage door and connect directly to the torsion spring tube. By eliminating the traditional ceiling-mounted rail and powerhead, it frees valuable overhead space for storage, car lifts, lighting, or garages with ceiling beams and other obstructions.

Its quiet 24V DC motor provides smooth soft-start and soft-stop operation while handling properly balanced residential sectional garage doors weighing up to 850 lb. The operator includes internal cable-tension monitoring, Genie Intellicode rolling-code security, Safe-T-Beam photo-eye protection, an automatic electric door lock, a wireless wall console, remote control, and a flexible-placement LED light fixture.

The Genie 6070H is battery-backup capable, but the battery backup is sold separately and is not included with this model.

• Doors without a compatible torsion tube
• Improperly balanced doors
• Doors with damaged springs, cables, drums, tracks, or hardware
• Applications exceeding the operator’s rated size or weight limits

Genie identifies the battery-backup-equipped version as a separate model.

Smart-Home Compatibility

The 6070H can be upgraded for smartphone monitoring and control using a compatible Genie Aladdin Connect accessory, sold separately.

Depending on the installed accessory and system configuration, Aladdin Connect may provide:

Wi-Fi functionality is not built into the standard 6070H package.

Installation Requirements
