6" Torsion Spring Cone 2-Piece Set – Right Wound, 1-1/4" Bore

This two-piece cone set is designed for compatible right-hand-wound torsion springs with a 6-inch inside diameter. The set includes one winding cone and one stationary cone, providing both fittings needed to assemble one torsion spring.

Compatibility

Use only with a right-hand-wound torsion spring measuring 6 inches across the inside diameter and a compatible 1-1/4-inch torsion shaft.

Confirm the spring’s inside diameter, wind direction, wire size and shaft diameter before ordering. This set is not interchangeable with the corresponding left-hand-wound cone set.

Installation and Safety

Torsion springs store extreme mechanical energy. Cone installation, spring winding and system adjustment should be performed by a trained garage-door professional using correctly sized winding bars and appropriate safety equipment.

Never use screwdrivers, punches or undersized rods as substitutes for winding bars. Inspect the spring, shaft, bearing plates, fasteners and related hardware before returning the door to service.
