Extension Spring Tandem Hookup Kit – Up to 2-3/8" Spring OD

Connect compatible extension springs in a tandem arrangement with this hookup kit. Tandem configurations use multiple springs together and require properly matched springs and correctly installed connecting hardware.

Confirm the spring outside diameter, spring ratings, door weight, cable arrangement, and required tandem configuration before ordering. Springs used together must be properly selected for the door and application.

Do not combine unmatched springs or use the kit to compensate for incorrectly sized counterbalance components. The complete system must be engineered and adjusted so both sides of the door operate evenly.

Extension springs store substantial energy and can cause serious injury if hardware is removed or adjusted under tension. Installation should be performed by a qualified garage door technician with the door secured and spring tension safely released.

Inspect the springs, cables, pulleys, containment cables, and attachment points before returning the door to service.
