The Miller Edge Air-Wave safety edge system provides contact-activated obstruction detection for compatible powered doors. When an obstruction compresses the connected sensing edge or hose, an air-pressure wave activates a switch that signals the door operator to stop or reverse, depending on its controls.
This system supports repairs and retrofits where the operator accepts a non-monitored air-activated safety device.
