This product includes the reflector and its support housing only. It is not a complete photo-eye kit and does not include the transmitting sensor, receiver, wiring, control interface, mounting hardware, or operator.
Confirm the safety-device model and inspect the existing reflector before ordering. Similar-looking reflectors may have different optical characteristics and should not be substituted without manufacturer approval.
Mount the reflector directly in the sensor’s beam path on a stable surface. After installation, align and test the complete entrapment-protection system according to the applicable LiftMaster instructions. The operator must stop or reverse as required when the beam is interrupted.
Have a qualified gate or commercial-door technician diagnose safety-device faults and perform installation. Never bypass or defeat a monitored photo eye to keep an automatic door or gate operating.
