The myQ app can assist with remote setup on compatible openers using a yellow or white Learn button. A compatible myQ-connected opener and current app support are required for app-based setup.
This remote is not intended for older DIP-switch receivers or openers manufactured before the supported date range. Check the opener’s Learn-button color and model before ordering.
For three-channel control in a visor-mounted format, see the LiftMaster L993M MAX 3-Button Visor Remote.
Programming and Safety
Program the remote while standing within reach of the opener’s Learn button, but remain clear of the moving door. Erasing the receiver’s memory can remove every programmed remote and keypad, so follow the opener-specific programming instructions carefully.
After programming, test each button individually. The garage door must reverse correctly when the photoelectric safety beam is interrupted and when it contacts a properly placed obstruction.
