Compatibility & Fitment

Designed for Guardian 303 MHz receivers and Guardian 303 MHz/390 MHz dual-frequency agile receivers.

Confirm your opener or external receiver’s specifications before ordering. Matching the frequency alone is insufficient; the receiver must also support the appropriate Guardian coding technology.

This is not a universal multi-brand remote. Do not select it for another manufacturer’s opener solely because its frequency is similar.

Important Matching Notes

• Program each button to the intended compatible operator.

• The receiver’s available memory determines how many remotes can be stored; wireless keypad codes may share that capacity.

• A dim indicator or reduced range may indicate a weak battery.

• A replacement remote will not correct a faulty receiver, damaged antenna, or mechanical door problem.

• If replacing a stolen remote, follow the operator’s instructions to erase its access and reprogram authorized devices.

Programming & Installation Notes

Follow the supplied instructions and your specific operator’s manual.

1. Press and release the operator’s Learn button.

2. Within the programming window, press and release the desired remote button.

3. Confirm the operator’s successful-programming indication.

4. Test operation with the door clearly visible.

5. Repeat for the second compatible operator if needed.

Avoid holding the Learn button unless the instructions require it; prolonged pressing may erase stored remotes.

Battery Replacement

Replace a depleted battery with the specified CR2032 coin cell, observing the marked polarity. Carefully open the housing as directed, replace the battery, and securely close the case before use.

Safety Warning

Keep the remote and new or used coin-cell batteries away from children. A swallowed coin-cell battery can cause severe internal injury; seek immediate medical attention if ingestion is suspected.

Do not recharge, short-circuit, disassemble, or heat the battery. Operate the garage door only when its path is clear, and keep it in sight until fully closed.
