COMPATIBILITY
Before ordering, confirm the link size and shape required by your hoist’s hand-chain wheel. Also check the chain length needed for your door height and mounting position. When formed into a continuous loop, 26 feet of chain does not provide a 26-foot hanging drop. Some taller doors require additional hand chain.
This is hand-operated hoist chain. If you need roller chain for a sprocket drive, match that chain by its specified size instead.
INSTALLATION & SAFETY
Secure the door and follow the hoist manufacturer’s instructions for routing and joining the hand chain. Keep the loop clear of moving door hardware, use a suitable chain keeper where required, and test the hoist with the door properly balanced. Do not use a chain hoist to force a binding door or compensate for damaged counterbalance hardware.
