The 165°F Fusible Link is a heat-activated safety component designed for compatible fire-door and automatic-closing release systems.
Under normal operating conditions, the link holds the connected release mechanism in position. When exposed to a temperature of approximately 165°F (74°C), the fusible element is designed to separate, allowing the connected fire-door closing mechanism to activate.

How It Works
