Add spring-break protection to a compatible commercial garage door torsion assembly. This device is designed for a left-hand-wound spring and is intended to arrest shaft rotation following spring failure when correctly selected and installed.

• For a left-hand-wound spring
• Standard application: 1" keyed solid shaft
• Shaft offset: 3-3/8"
• Maximum torque: 1,850 lb-in per device
• One device required per spring
• Compatible spring fittings: 1-3/4", 2", 2-5/8", 3-3/4" and 6"
• Limit-switch mounting provision; switch not included
• Sold individually
COMPATIBILITY
Not for duplex springs. An optional extension bracket accommodates supported alternative offsets. Verify spring winding, fitting geometry, shaft specification and calculated torque. The torque limit is not a door weight rating.
INSTALLATION & SAFETY
Professional selection and installation are required. This is a one-time-use safety device: replace it after activation and inspect the complete door system. Do not resume operation until the spring failure and any resulting damage have been corrected.
