6" Torsion Spring Stationary Cone – Right-Hand Wound

This stationary cone is designed for compatible right-hand-wound torsion springs with a 6-inch inside diameter. It secures the fixed end of the spring to the center bearing plate or spring anchor bracket.

Compatibility

Use only with a compatible 6-inch-ID, right-hand-wound torsion spring. Verify the spring’s inside diameter, wind direction, wire size, shaft diameter and existing cone configuration before ordering.

A stationary cone attaches to the fixed end of the spring and does not replace the winding cone installed at the adjustable end.

Pair it with the corresponding 6" Torsion Spring Winding Cone – Right-Hand Wound.

For installations using a 1-1/4-inch shaft, verify whether the separate 6" Right-Hand Winding Cone with 1-1/4" Bore is required.

Installation and Safety

The torsion spring must be fully controlled and safely unwound before removing the stationary cone or spring-anchor hardware.

Installation should be completed by a qualified garage-door technician. Inspect the shaft, bearing plates, spring anchor bracket and mounting fasteners before operating the door.
