6" Torsion Spring Cone 2-Piece Set – Left-Hand Wound, 1" Bore

This two-piece cone set is designed for compatible left-hand-wound torsion springs with a 6-inch inside diameter. It includes the winding cone and stationary cone needed to assemble one torsion spring on a compatible 1-inch shaft.

Compatibility

Use only with a left-hand-wound torsion spring measuring 6 inches across the inside diameter and a compatible 1-inch torsion shaft.

Confirm the spring’s inside diameter, wind direction, wire size and shaft diameter before ordering. This set is not interchangeable with right-hand-wound cones or the 1-1/4-inch-bore version.

Installation and Safety

Torsion-spring assembly and winding should be performed by a qualified garage-door technician. Use winding bars specifically sized for the cone and follow established torsion-spring safety procedures.

Never loosen cone set screws without first controlling the spring. Inspect the torsion shaft, bearing plates, anchor bracket, fasteners and related door hardware before restoring operation.
