These 5/16" x 1-1/2" sleeve anchors are designed for fastening garage door hardware, brackets, track components, and other compatible materials to concrete, brick, block, and masonry surfaces.
The all-steel sleeve-anchor design expands inside the drilled hole as the hex-head fastener is tightened, creating a secure mechanical connection. The zinc-plated steel construction provides corrosion resistance for typical indoor and protected applications.
This listing contains a bulk pack of 100 sleeve anchors, making it a practical choice for garage door installers, contractors, maintenance departments, and service companies.

How a Sleeve Anchor Works
A sleeve anchor is inserted through the component being mounted and into a pre-drilled masonry hole.
As the hex head is tightened, the internal fastener draws the expansion cone into the sleeve. The sleeve expands outward against the walls of the hole, creating the mechanical grip that holds the mounted component in place.
Installation
For proper installation:
-
Position the bracket or hardware and mark the mounting location.
-
Drill the hole using a 5/16" masonry bit.
-
Remove loose dust and debris from the hole.
-
Insert the sleeve anchor through the component and into the masonry.
-
Tighten the hex head until the hardware is securely fastened.
Do not over-tighten. Excessive torque can damage the anchor, substrate, or mounted component.
Compatibility & Selection
Before ordering, verify:
-
Required anchor diameter is 5/16"
-
Required anchor length is 1-1/2"
-
The base material is suitable for a sleeve-style expansion anchor
-
Sufficient embedment is available
-
The mounted hardware allows proper anchor installation
Anchor length requirements depend on the thickness of the material being fastened and the required embedment into the masonry.
Quantity Note
This listing contains 100 individual 5/16" x 1-1/2" sleeve anchors.
Selecting a quantity of 1 on the product page means you are purchasing one box of 100 anchors, not one individual anchor.
Installation & Safety
Wear eye protection when drilling concrete, masonry, brick, or block. Check for concealed electrical wiring, plumbing, or other utilities before drilling.
For structural, overhead, or safety-critical installations, use the anchor type, size, embedment, spacing, and installation procedure specified for the application.
