Compatibility
For commercial door and gate operators that accept separate OPEN and CLOSE commands with a normally closed STOP circuit. Verify the operator’s wiring diagram, control voltage and contact requirements before ordering.
The contact rating indicates the switch’s electrical capacity; it does not specify the voltage that must be supplied. This station connects to the operator’s control circuit and does not directly power the motor.
Installation Notes
Flush mounting requires a suitable wall recess. Check the back-box dimensions, mounting points and available depth against the manufacturer’s drawing before cutting the opening or replacing an existing station.
Use appropriate exterior fittings and seals, and follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Door movement after pressing or releasing a button depends on the operator’s control settings and safety configuration.
Safety Warnings
Disconnect operator power before installation or servicing. Have a qualified technician perform electrical connections and verify compatibility.
Mount within sight of the opening, away from moving parts and beyond children’s reach. Test OPEN, CLOSE and STOP operation before use. Never bypass photo eyes, sensing edges, stop circuits or other required safety devices.
Keep people and vehicles clear during movement. The STOP button does not disconnect electrical power and must not be used as a substitute for isolating power during servicing.
