This universal stationary cone is designed for compatible torsion springs with a 2-inch inside diameter. It secures the fixed end of the spring to the center bearing plate or spring anchor bracket.

Compatibility
Use with a compatible 2-inch-ID torsion spring that does not exceed the stated maximum wire size. Verify the torsion-shaft diameter and cone bore before ordering or installing.
The stationary cone attaches to the fixed end of the spring. It does not replace the winding cone required at the adjustable end.
Pair it with the corresponding 2" Torsion Spring Winding Cone. When both fittings require replacement, the 2" Universal Torsion Spring Cone 2-Piece Set may be the more convenient option.
Installation and Safety
Garage-door torsion springs operate under extreme tension. Cone installation and spring adjustment should be performed by a qualified garage-door professional.
The spring must be fully controlled and safely unwound before removing stationary-cone fasteners. Inspect the shaft, bearing plates, spring anchor bracket and mounting hardware before operating the door.
