Complete or repair a compatible 2-5/8-inch torsion-spring assembly with this SSC winding cone. The cone installs at the active end of the spring and provides the winding-bar sockets and set screws required to apply spring tension and secure the spring to the torsion shaft.

The 2-5/8-inch measurement refers to the torsion spring’s inside diameter—not its outside diameter or the diameter of the torsion shaft. Before ordering, verify the spring ID, wire size, shaft diameter, cone bore, set-screw arrangement, and the dimensions and markings of the existing cone.

This listing includes one winding cone only. The stationary cone, torsion spring, shaft, bearing, spring anchor bracket, fasteners, and winding bars are not included.

Never install a cone that is cracked, distorted, stripped, or incorrectly sized. Do not grind, drill, or force a mismatched cone into the spring.
