The 877LM is designed specifically for Security+ 2.0 LiftMaster and compatible Chamberlain Group garage door opener systems identified by a yellow Learn button.

Before ordering, locate the Learn button on your garage door opener and verify that it is yellow.

Important Compatibility Note

The 877LM is not a universal keypad.

It should not be confused with the 877MAX / 878MAX, which support a wider range of older LiftMaster and Chamberlain opener technologies.

If your garage door opener has a:

• Green Learn button

• Red or orange Learn button

• Purple Learn button

the 877LM is not the correct keypad. A compatible universal/MAX-series keypad should be selected instead.

Temporary PIN Feature

The 877LM can be programmed with a temporary 4-digit PIN for visitors or service access.

A temporary PIN can be configured to remain active for:

• A specified number of hours, or

• A specified number of garage door openings

This is useful when temporary access is needed without sharing the primary garage entry PIN.

Installation & Programming

The keypad mounts outside the garage and communicates wirelessly with the compatible garage door opener.

Programming is completed using the garage door opener's yellow Learn button or, on certain compatible systems, through the appropriate LiftMaster wall control.

After programming, enter the selected 4-digit PIN followed by the ENTER button to operate the garage door.
